Hello everyone and HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I would like to introduce you to two of our Doodle customers.
This is Barbi (on right with Shirley). You might remember Barbi from such things as frequent Friday night crops, One Hit Wonder class and the Doodle Caboose Train Trip.
This is Margot (pronounced Mar-GOT, not Mar-GO, on the left with her sweet daughter) You might remember her from such things as the QuicKutz Klub, the lemonade stand at the Fall Festival and the leader of the Purple Chat Club.
These two wonderful ladies have something in common-they are both members of a marching band called The Awesome Original Second Time Arounders. They have been invited to be one of the bands to participate in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. How brilliant is that?! Very big congratulations to Barbi and Margot! You guys are awesome and I cannot wait to hear the stories and see the photos!!
If you, like me, hate to miss one part of the parade then you can watch for some Doodle Divas in the Big Apple! They fall right in the middle of all the marching bands performing in the parade, which should put them in Herald Square around 10:45-11:00am. They two bands to come before them are Fayetteville High School, then Copiague High School and then The Awesome Original Second Time Arounders!! Barbi is a dancer and Margot plays and instrument. I cannot remember which she'll be playing in the parade (can anyone help with that?!).
Make sure you watch for them and congratulate them the next time you see them around the store!
